“Vision S” Awareness and Building — Vision for self-sustenance –Participating Corporates representatives–L&T finance, Powai fine arts ,Mahindra & Mahindra, Pan India Food solutions etc along with shareholders, stake holders and social media representatives.
Atma Samman Mela — A job fair for differently able,imparting them training on Insurance, housekeeping, Nursing & taking care of patients. It was organised at Norita Grounds Powai. Attended by many eligible differently able candidates and parents.
Share & Care — Interactive seminar between ,NGO representatives from NIEPID ,Sujaya Foundation, MBA Foundation and Differently able employees and employable candidates along with Corporate
representation by Times pro, Deloitte, Control case, AAkKamani ,Orritel group Vivekananda Institute of Management studies.
Enhance & Excel — An outbound 2 days training program at Talegaon for the staff members of MBA Foundation & Self Esteem foundation for Disabled on personality development & social interaction
skills .Also a social visit to an old age home and short picnic.
In Unison — A Full day seminar on the 8th Anniversary of SEFD for NGO representatives of member NGOS & parents of the differently able.
First session-An overview on Government policies and other facilities for persons with disabilities conducted by MS Dipika Sherkhane State Coordinator (SNAC –Maharashtra) Second session -Effective communication skills by MS Geeta Castelino (Consulting Psychologist/CSR-NGO & Management Ideas Consultant .
On the occasion of the International day of people with disabilities, MBA Foundation and Self Esteem Foundation for Disabled (SEFD) organized an Awareness Seminar –“Inclusion through Empowerment and Employment” (ITEE) on 4th December 2019 at Maharashtra Seva Sangh, Airoli, Navi Mumbai., to shake the conscience of every citizen and tell them how they can go that extra mile with us to make our goal a success.
Meenakshi B Chairperson of MBA Foundation & Self Esteem Foundation for Disabled spoke in brief about both the organizational functions.
Meenal Mandlik, Director of SEFD gave brief introduction on the Seminar Objective.
The first Session of the Seminar was on Training & Empowerment, Attitude & Opportunities –
Ms. Anita Iyer Narayan from Ekansh Trust, Pune who spoke on Training, Career & Job Opportunities.
Mr. Nitin Potdar from J. Sagar Associates & Maxplore Centre for Entrepreneurship spoke on Attitude & Opportunities.
Mr. Swapnil Dewalwar from Youth 4 Job spoke on Training & Employment
Mr. G.S. Krrishnan from the Banking & Insurance Sector spoke about his experiences.
The Second Session was on A Corporate Perspective. Dr. Ferdinand Rodricks- Proprietor “Ferro Equip” & Mr. Sarath Divella- Vice President, Lion Bridge, shared their views.
The Third Session was Panel discussion on “Rising Beyond (Obstacles & Challenges)”.
Mrs. Geeta Castelino– Educationist, Consulting Psychologist, Corporate & NGO consultant was the Moderator for this session and the Panelists were all differently able speakers .competently performs and achievers in their respective fields

7. Inauguration of Blessings store Thane -24/8/2019
Self Esteem Foundation For Disabled takes great pleasure to announce the inauguration of BLESSINGS, the first outlet in Thane on the 23rd August 2019. This store will showcase the products made by G.O.D.S’ (Groups of Disabled).
The store is courtesy of our GODS’ Champion Ms Ashwini Purohit a trainee at MBA Foundation (Airoli) . A large hearted and noble gesture of her dear parents Mr Sudhakar Purohit and Mrs Sushama Purohit. A true inspiration to all the parents of the differently able children. Their never say die attitude and untiring effort to give the best to their daughter is highly commendable. They have now decided to support the organisation by offering their shop to showcase and sell products made by NGOS
8. Kalaghoda Festival—Feb 2020
SEFD team participated for the first time in the prestigious Kala Ghoda festival in Mumbai in the first week of February 2020. A stall was put up exhibiting all the products .It was an unique experience to participate with all other NGOs. The stall had visitors from various parts of India and also international customers, who appreciated and bought our products.
